Map Quiz – Angola: Provinces

Questions: Bengo, Benguela, Bié, Cabinda, Cuando, Cuanza Norte, Cuanza Sul, Cubango, Cunene, Huambo, Huíla, Ícolo e Bengo, Luanda, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Malanje, Moxico, Moxico Oriental, Namibe, Uíge, Zaire

Angola is divided into 21 provinces. For many years the country had 18 provinces, but a territorial reform adopted in 2024 expanded this number.

The reform created four new provinces. Cuando Cubango was split into two separate provinces: Cuando and Cubango. In eastern Angola, Moxico Oriental was formed from the eastern part of Moxico. Near the capital, Ícolo e Bengo was separated from Luanda.

Learning the provinces of Angola is easier with a map quiz. The interactive map format helps you connect each province name with its correct location, making it easier to remember both geography and spelling. The quiz allows you to practice repeatedly at your own pace. By clicking directly on the map, you actively reinforce your knowledge. This approach works well when learning updated administrative divisions, including newly created provinces.
