Asia is the world's largest continent and contains an enormous variety of physical landscapes. Its geography includes some of Earth's highest mountains, largest plateaus, vast deserts, extensive river systems, and long coastlines bordering the Arctic, Pacific, and Indian oceans.

Central and southern Asia contain major mountain systems and highlands, including the Himalayas, Caucasus Mountains, Ural Mountains, and Tibetan Plateau. The Himalayas contain the world's highest peaks, while deserts such as the Gobi and Taklamakan occupy large areas of the continent's interior.

Asia's major rivers include the Yangtze, Yellow, Ganges, Brahmaputra, Indus, Mekong, Amur, and Ob. These rivers drain vast areas and have played a central role in agriculture and human settlement. Other important inland waters include Lake Baikal, the Caspian Sea, and the Aral Sea.

This quiz covers 37 important physical features of Asia, including rivers, seas, oceans, mountain ranges, deserts, peninsulas, plateaus, straits, and other geographic regions. Learning their locations provides a broad overview of the physical geography of the world's largest continent.
