Lesotho is a small, landlocked country in southern Africa that is completely surrounded by South Africa. Much of the country consists of mountains and highlands, and its entire territory lies more than 1,000 meters above sea level.

Lesotho is divided into 10 districts: Berea, Butha-Buthe, Leribe, Mafeteng, Maseru, Mohale's Hoek, Mokhotlong, Qacha's Nek, Quthing, and Thaba-Tseka. These districts form the country's main administrative divisions.

Maseru District contains the national capital and part of the more densely populated western lowlands. Several of the eastern districts extend into the Maloti Mountains, where settlements are more widely dispersed and the terrain is considerably more rugged.

This quiz covers all 10 districts of Lesotho. Learning their locations provides a useful introduction to the administrative geography of this small, mountainous country.
