Rwanda is a landlocked country in East Africa known for its rolling hills, fertile landscapes, and high population density. It borders Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The country is divided into five first-level administrative units: the provinces of Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western, along with the City of Kigali. Kigali, the national capital, is Rwanda's largest city and serves as the country's political and economic center.

Rwanda's current provincial structure was introduced in 2006 as part of an administrative reform designed to improve governance and reduce regional divisions. The provinces are further divided into districts and sectors.

Despite its small size, Rwanda contains a wide variety of landscapes, including mountains, lakes, forests, and agricultural areas. The Virunga Mountains in the northwest are famous for their population of endangered mountain gorillas.

This quiz helps you learn the names and locations of Rwanda's provinces and the City of Kigali.
