Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa, bordered by eight neighboring countries. It is divided into 10 provinces, which serve as the country's primary administrative divisions. Each province is further divided into districts and local authorities.

The provinces vary considerably in size, population, and geography. Lusaka Province contains the national capital and is the political and economic center of the country. Copperbelt Province, located near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is known for its rich copper deposits and has long been the heart of Zambia's mining industry.

Much of Zambia lies on a high plateau crossed by major rivers, including the Zambezi, from which the country takes its name. Southern Province is home to the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, one of the world's largest waterfalls, while Northern and Muchinga provinces contain lakes, forests, and mountainous landscapes.

This quiz helps you learn the names and locations of all 10 provinces of Zambia.
