Kuwait is a small country at the northern end of the Persian Gulf, bordered by Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Much of its territory consists of flat, arid desert, while most of the population lives in urban areas near the coast.

Kuwait is divided into six governorates: Al Ahmadi, Al Asimah, Al Farwaniyah, Al Jahra, Hawalli, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer. These governorates form the country's main administrative divisions.

Al Asimah, also known as the Capital Governorate, includes Kuwait City and serves as the country's political and administrative center. Al Jahra is the largest governorate by area, covering much of northern and western Kuwait, while several of the smaller governorates form part of the densely populated Kuwait City metropolitan area.

This quiz covers all six governorates of Kuwait. Learning their locations provides a useful introduction to the administrative geography of this small but highly urbanized country.
